Note: TM Repository has three components: the database, the business logic, and the web-based user interface. You can install all three on separate computers. The system requirements outlined below are valid when you install all three components on a single computer.
Hardware
- A PC or an Intel-based server computer with a dual-core or more advanced processor
- 1 GB of RAM (4 GB or more is recommended for SQL Server)
- 30 MB of hard disk space for the software, 15 GB or more hard disk space for the database
Software
- Microsoft Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista Business/Enterprise/ Ultimate, Windows 7 Business/Enterprise/Ultimate, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003 R2 (64-bit versions are also supported)
Note: The use of Windows Server operating systems is highly recommended.
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008, or SQL Server 2008 R2
- You can use all editions of Microsoft SQL Server including the Express Edition. However, if you choose to use the Express Edition, you need Express Edition with Advanced Text Services.
- Microsoft Internet Information Services web server, version 5.0 and above
