memoQ 4free is designed for translators who get acquainted with translation technology for the first time.

memoQ 4free is meant for translators who don't have a translation environment tool and want to use memoQ's excellent file filters to process formats that are not easy to process without a translation tool: InDesign, FrameMaker, HTML, XML, etc.

memoQ 4free has only very basic translation memory and term base functionality and does not help you in large projects. For every project you create, you need to create a brand new translation memory and term base, so you cannot reuse your existing translations. memoQ 4free is not suitable for working with clients using memoQ. memoQ 4free does not come with support.

Important! This version of memoQ cannot be downloaded. Once the 45-days free evaluation version of your memoQ expires, it turns into 4free mode.

When working with memoQ 4free, you won’t be able to:

• add previously created translation memories or term bases to your project
• open previous translation jobs
• align documents and build up translation memories
• import handoff packages (.mqout) and export delivery packages (.mqback)
• access server projects and participate in team translation jobs
• get free support…
